La 2da Edición de Premios Fox Sports.

Diego Torres, the multifaceted artist from Argentina, is one of four featured performers confirmed for La 2da Edición de Premios Fox Sports being held at the Jackie Gleason Theater of the Performing Arts in Miami Beach, Florida on December 15, 2004. For the second consecutive year, Fox Pan American Sports is bringing together some of the hottest and emerging Latin musical talent along with distinguished U.S. Hispanic and Latin American sports figures for a celebration to honor achievements across a variety of sports. Joining Diego on stage this year are Pablo Montero, Belinda and Sabrina.

“Premios Fox Sports unifies music and sports. It’s an enormous honor for me to perform because I am a big sports fan,” said Diego Torres regarding his upcoming appearance at the La 2da Edición de Premios Fox Sports.

“We are honored to have such an extraordinary line-up of musical performers join us for the second year of Premios Fox Sports,” said Raul de Quesada, Senior Vice President of Marketing for Fox Sports International. “This awards presentation celebrates not only the athletic achievements of some tremendous individuals, but also supports the community. Through our official charity, the International Kids Fund, we are proud to support their efforts in providing medical care to needy children from Latin America and the Caribbean who suffer from life-threatening illnesses.”

“BMG U.S. Latin once again is honored to contribute some of the key international performers to this event. We are very proud to be closely associated with Premios Fox Sports, an event that successfully brings together both music and sports, and is sure to be a total hit with all those involved as well as for the loyal Spanish speaking audience that supports Fox Sports en Español and Fox Sports Latin America,” said Cindy Becerra, Marketing Manager of Latin Pop for BMG U.S. Latin.

December’s awards presentation honors distinguished athletes from variety of sports including soccer, baseball, boxing, basketball, motor sports, tennis and golf as well as their contributions to their communities.
