La Agencia de Orci restructures management team … Hector Orci assumes CEO role again.

Hector Orci – Chairman of Los Angeles based La Agencia de Orci has assumed once again the role of Chief Executive Office, a post he had turned over to Dilys Tosteson Garcia at the beginning of 2006.

Under the leadership of Dilys Tosteson Garcia Chief Executive Officer & President, the agency has suffered major losses the Verizon Communications and Allstate Insurance accounts.

Global Hue now has Verizon Communications and Lapiz has Allstate Insurance.

The agency also has reduced their employee roster considerably over the last two years due to their current business situation. An agency that once enjoyed employees of the caliber of Leon Potasinski, Sofia Escamilla and other talented executives has seen its ranks reduced considerably.

Over the last year and a half, the agency has fallen prey to other agency attacks on their accounts and a lack of an ability to defend or retain core clients. Industry insiders stated that they were not surprised by the move, indicating that Mr. Orci had to step in and assume command of a difficult situation in the hopes of retaining remaining clients and employees to maintain some level of valuation for the agency.
