La Bodeguita del Medio Miami, a new restaurant lounge concept has retained Creativas Group Branding & Public Relations to handle all branding, public relations and events. La Bodeguita del Medio is located at 3138 Coral Way, Miami, Florida and will soon be opening its doors with a series of invitation-only posh events next month. Creativas Group is pleased to announce the creative collaboration that is certain to make this venue the hottest and most sought after in the 305 area code.

A name recognized all over the world, the original venue, La Bodeguita del Medio opened in Havana, Cuba in 1942. It rapidly became the favorite restaurant and watering hole for artists, aristocrats, famous bull-fighters, writers, models, politicians, and of course, celebrities. The famous faces that graced La Bodeguita include Erroll Flynn, Carmen Miranda, Mario Benedetti, Agustin Lara, Pablo Neruda, Lou Costello, Gabriela Mistral, Marilyn Monroe and writer Ernest Hemingway. Hemingway, to date has been credited for making the locale’s signature drink the “mojito” famous. Presently, patrons all over the globe know and favor this Cuban drink comprised of rum, mint, mineral water and a few drops of lemon juice.

Since opening in the 40s, after garnering attention globally due to literatti and cogniscenti, La Bodeguita was no kept secret. As a local favorite and touristic landmark, sister restaurants have opened across the map with locations in Mexico City, Puerta Vallarta, Guadalajara, Playa del Carmen, London and California.

La Bodeguita del Medio in Cuba has been acclaimed for its “bohemian” atmosphere. Gracing the walls is Cuban art, photographs of celebrities who’ve visited over decades and signatures (or better yet said) autographs signed or carved to “freeze” their visit in time.
