‘La Guia para el Bienestar’ Dulcolax Promotion Living Healthier.

To help inspire Hispanic women to take the healthy lifestyle plunge, talk show host Cristina Saralegui and Dra. Maritza Fuentes are teaming up to raise awareness about health and fitness issues that are rarely discussed. Together, they are promoting La Guia para el Bienestar Dulcolax (Dulcolax Guide to Healthy Living), available via http://www.dulcolax.com. The site offers important information and advice about living better and eating right.
According to Dra. Fuentes, Hispanics in the United States face many of the same health and wellness challenges as other ethnic groups. But often these challenges are more difficult, due to culture and lifestyle variations. Failure to get enough exercise often leads to obesity and diabetes among Hispanics. And differences in diet may help explain why more Hispanics suffer from constipation than non-Hispanics. “The overwhelming majority of sufferers are women,” she notes. “What’s more, nearly one-third of Hispanic sufferers describe their constipation as severe.”
“The purpose of the campaign is to generate awareness surrounding one of the most common health issues experienced by women – constipation,” says Cristina. “Women need to know more, including how much water they should drink each day to be healthy; how they’ll benefit from getting more exercise; that eating more fiber might not be enough to cure their constipation; and that vitamins or medications could be causing their constipation.”
