La Raza 106.3 FM In Miami expands programming.

Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc. (SBS) announced that its new regional Mexican radio station, WRAZ La Raza 106.3 FM, serving Miami and South Florida, has added three of the most popular syndicated radio shows in the United States to its program schedule. WRAZ 106.3 launched in January of this year, and features some of the most famous DJs among the Mexican and Central American communities in the country.

Since February 4, WRAZ 106.3 has added the very popular shows “El Vacilon Del Mandril” from SBS Los Angeles, and “La Bronca” from SBS San Francisco. On February 7, the station added “El Chulo de la Mañana” from SBS Chicago. All three shows blend seamlessly with the new regional Mexican station’s current musical programming, and can be heard at the following times on WRAZ 106.3:

— “El Chulo de la Mañana” will entertain listeners with the crazy antics of the show’s hosts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

— “La Bronca” will enchant listeners with his personality Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM. to 6:00 PM.

— “El Mandril” will deliver his lively style Monday through Friday from 6:00 PM to10:00 PM.

“These new morning and afternoon shows are a perfect complement to the musical programming that WRAZ LA RAZA 106.3 has offered since its launch,” said Juan Hidalgo, Western Regional Director of Programming for SBS. “Now, not only are we bringing the best DJ’s and music to Miami and South Florida, but we’re also brining the best programs for the Mexican and Central American communities.”

“The yearning and nostalgia for family, friends and home that Mexican immigrants leave behind can be soothed by bringing to them the music and programs from their culture with which they can identify,” added Pio Ferro, National Director of Programming for SBS. “The new programming on WRAZ LA RAZA 106.3 FM will satisfy these needs with shows specially designed for them and with activities where the DJ’s and their audience can interact.“
