“La Semana de Terror” on Cinelatino

Cinelatino brings a monstrous lineup to home screens in its annual “Semana de Terror” (Week of Terror) with nightly spine-tingling films beginning Monday, October 26. The week-long stunt will run through Saturday, October 31, when the network will air a marathon of some of the all-time scariest Spanish-language films.
“La Semana de Terror” will include the premieres of two chilling films based on true stories: Secretos (Secrets) and Exorcismo Documentado (Documented Exorcism) on Tuesday, October 27, and Friday, October 30, respectively. Both films will air at 11pm ET/ 8pm PT.
The Halloween specials and Marathon will include horror films, including:
• La Cara Oculta (“The Hidden Face”): A Spanish couple moves to Colombia when the man is hired to conduct the Philharmonic Orchestra. Suspicious of his possible infidelity, his girlfriend suddenly abandons him. He moves on to find new love, but the disappearance of his first girlfriend turns out to be stranger than he imagined.
• PREMIERE: Secretos (“Secrets”): Two men are on their way out of the city, when they stop to help a beautiful woman who seems to have been in an accident. They take her back to her house—a secluded place where sinister family secrets and a tenebrous presence await them.
• La Llorona 3 (“The Weeping Woman 3”): A terrifying account of a man investigating the mysterious death of his wife and sudden disappearance of his children. His investigation takes an unexpected turn when he discovers that his wife is the descendent of the legendary, “La Llorona.”
• Morgana, Una Leyenda de Terror (Morgana, A Terrifying Legend”): A crazed woman’s suicide at the end of the 19th century brings about terrifying consequences, haunting the nightmares of a young girl living in the modern day. Based on an actual legend that supposedly took place at Cajititlán Lake in Jalisco, Mexico.
• PREMIERE: Exorcismo Documentado (“Documented Exorcism”): In October 2006, a 16-year-old girl was diagnosed with severe depression. Three months later strange and chilling things began to occur in her home in this true-life horror story. The film shattered all box office records when it was released in Guatemala, its country of origin.
