August 7, 2005
Lápiz has been chosen a finalist at the 2005 Chicago Creative Club Awards, in the Art Direction, Editorial and Book Design categories for their work on Brahmasutra for lnBev (formerly Labatt).
The Brahmasutra is an engaging 56-page guide designed as part of the campaign to introduce the Brazilian beer Brahma in the U.S. The pocket-size Brahmasutra provides insight on how one can clear one’s mind to enjoy Brahma and how it delivers flavor, rousing one’s inner ginga, a Brazilian philosophy and approach to life.
Presented by the Chicago Advertising Federation, the Chicago Creative Club Awards expressed intent is to “recognize and reward creative excellence in the legitimate everyday workplace of advertising – “real” advertising, for “real” clients, with “real” marketing objectives, in or on “real” media.” The best and the brightest of the city of Chicago will be awarded Thursday, September 29th at the awards presentation in the Auditorium Theater located at 50 E. Congress Parkway in Chicago. All finalists will be displayed at the show.
