Caballero TV & Cable Sales, Inc. announced that it will offer advertisers sponsorship opportunities for the broadcast in Puerto Rico of the 4th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards, which will air on Televicentro de Puerto Rico, September 3, 2003 at 10:00 pm (local time). The 4th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards will take place September 3, 2003, at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, Florida.
The event, recognizing the best Latin talent, is organized by the Latin Recording Academy and features 41 award categories, including four general categories: Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist. Latin GRAMMY fields include: Pop, Rap/Hip-Hop, Rock, Tropical, Regional Mexican, Traditional, Jazz, Brazilian, Children’s, Classical, Production and Music Video. Among nominees this year are Bacilos, Juanes, David Bisbal, Rubén Blades, Alexandre Pires, Ricardo Arjona, Enrique Iglesias, and many others. Televicentro offers its viewers locally produced Spanish language programming specifically targeted to the island’s audience, including local news, variety shows, blockbuster movies (first run), original special events and made for TV movies.
