Latin Spirit Award to Daisy Expósito-Ulla.

Latin Business Magazine, the bi-monthly trade publication serving the Latino business community in the U.S.A, presented its Latin Spirit Award to Daisy Expósito-Ulla, Chairman/Partner of dexpósito & Partners.

The awards, on their fourth year, were presented at the annual gala at The Marriott Los Angeles Downtown L.A.

Greg McComb, Editor and Publisher of Latin Business Magazine, called Ms. Expósito-Ulla “a visionary in the Hispanic marketing industry.” McComb introduced attorney Marcos D. Velayos, who received The Latin Entrepreneurial Spirit Award. His company, Park & Velayos LLP, specializes in land use and real estate issues, including “invigorating projects within Latino communities.

Keynote speaker was Margaret Lazo, SVP, Human Resources, NBC-Television.

Latin Business Magazine awarded five scholarships from its Latin Scholarship Fund, with Expósito-Ulla donating one on behalf of d expósito & Partners.

This year’s listed recipients are Karina Barrero, Phil Gurule, Scott Olivares and Adrian Ayala. Wells Fargo- LSF contributed to the scholarships.

The event’s Master of Ceremonies was author/motivational speaker Daniel Gutiérrez.
