Azteca America presents three championship boxing events in a single evening, live from Cancun on Jan. 28, in one of the first major international events held in this landmark beach resort since the devastating Wilma hurricane.
Jorge “El Travieso” Arce faces off against Adonis Rivas for the WBC World Flyweight Championship; Jackie Nava, from Mexico, will be putting on the gloves against Kelsie Jeffries, of the US, for the WBC World Super Bantamweight Women’s title; and
Rodel Mayol, from the Philippines, will face Mexican fighter Lorenzo Trejo for the WBC Strawweight Final Elimination Bout.
Special invited guests include Julio César Chávez, Muhammad Ali, Laila Ali, Oscar de la Hoya, Sugar Ray Leonard, Mike Tyson and Tommy “The Hitman” Hearns.
