LatinosNJ.com launches for New Jersey Latinos.

LatinosNJ.com – a website designed for and about New Jersey Latinos who number almost 1.5 million – debuted on Friday, October 5th at a launch reception at the Newark Museum.

LatinosNJ.com will provide the latest news and issues, and feature blogs and columns from Latino leaders and experts in various fields such as health, education, business, and immigration. The nonpartisan site will also include a community forum to allow a discussion of the day’s hot topics, and will have other features designed to provide an educational and positive interactive experience.

“The Latino population in New Jersey – and the nation – is a growing force and both Latinos and non-Latinos are struggling to understand what this means in terms of our state, politics, economic picture and lives,” said Ivette Mendez, founder of LatinosNJ.com. “There’s a thirst for information about issues pertaining to Latinos but there is not a singular media source that provides a reliable and overall look at what’s going on in the Garden State. LatinosNJ.com is designed to fill that informational gap.”
