Pigskin? You mean lechon? For years, the football world has referred to the ball as a “pigskin.” The unique nickname was born before the 1850s when footballs were actually made from a pig’s bladder and the catchy name still sticks. But don’t worry, footballs are now made from cowhide leather or vulcanized rubber!

The digital spot makes viewers think that the fans are heading to the big game but instead the narrative abruptly reveals that where these excited fans are headed to enjoy actual pig skin/pork at Puerto Rico’s iconic “Ruta de Lechon” (or Pork Highway). Yes, a Pork Highway actually exists where you can savor a delicious Puerto Rican feast!
