Telemundo’s highly popular annual musical awards show Billboard Latin Music awards to produce “Levántate” live from Telemundo’s WKAQ Studios in Puerto Rico and will launch following Telemundo’s coverage of the 2008 Olympic Games.
“Levántate” will be a two-hour live show, with an emphasis on upbeat, lively segments and engaging hosts, bringing viewers a fresh dose of entertainment and information. Guided by the expertise of Puerto Rico-based Tony Mojena, a seasoned television show producer who is also in charge of Telemundo’s successful Premios Billboard, “Levántate” will incorporate original stories and packages from Mexico, Los Angeles, New York and Miami, allowing for expansive coverage of the latest happenings in the world of entertainment, as well as current events.
