Lima named VP Creative Director of Y&R + Bravo Miami.

Eddie Gonzalez, Chairman and CEO of Y&R Latin America and Bravo and Eric Hoyt, President and Chief Operating Officer of Y&R and Bravo, announced that Claudio Lima will be joining as VP Creative Director for Y&R Latin America. Starting his new position immediately, Claudio will be responsible for overseeing creative at the agency’s Miami office.

Claudio joins Y&R from Ogilvy Brazil, where he was a lead Executive Creative Director responsible for Ogilvy winning 16 lions at Cannes 2012, 4 of which were golds, making them the most awarded agency in Brazil and the 3rd most awarded agency in the world. At Ogilvy Brazil, Claudio led the Claro Telecom account and was a Regional Creative Director for Coke Zero LATAM, Coke US HISPANIC Sparkling Division, Burger King Brazil and USA, amongst others.

Claudio’s career spans 3 continents. Prior to joining Ogilvy in his native Brazil, Claudio worked at DRAFTFCB New York, where he produced work for Kraft, Milkbone, ONDCP and Duramed. In the US, he also worked at Wieden & Kennedy Portland and FCB Chicago and also spent time in Europe.

Claudio has won a total of 22 Cannes Lion Awards, with gold at the Young Creatives Awards in 2004. He has also received accolades at D&AD, Clio, One Show, FIAP, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, El Sol, Eurobest, London International, amongst others. Claudio has served as a juror member at the Clios, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, Clube de Criação de São Paulo and the Portuguese Creative Club.
