Linda De Jesús To AAF’s Advertising Hall of Achievement.

The American Advertising Federation (AAF) has named seven exceptional young advertising and media executives to the elite ranks of its Advertising Hall of Achievement.

The Advertising Hall of Achievement honor industry professionals age 40 and younger who are making a significant impact on the industry through their leadership, career achievements and personal inspirational qualities. This year’s recipients were selected from a field of 33 nominees. The 2002 Advertising Hall of Achievement inductees are the following:

* Alex Bogusky, creative director-partner, Crispin Porter + Bogusky Advertising
* Jeannine Shao Collins, VP/group publisher, Ladies’ Home Journal and More Magazines, Meredith Corporation
* Linda De Jesús, president, The Bravo Group
* Scott Donaton, editor, Advertising Age, Crain Communications, Inc.
* Earl G. Graves Jr., president and chief operating officer, Black Enterprise Magazine
* Richard Stoddart, marketing communications manager, Ford Motor Company
* William Wrigley Jr., president and CEO, Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company

“We celebrate these extraordinary achievers for advancing the industry’s best interests through dynamic practices,” said AAF President and CEO Wally Snyder. “Their exceptional talent has already proved an invaluable resource for the evolving world of advertising.”

Earl G. Graves Jr., president and chief operating officer, Black Enterprise Magazine, will also be presented with the distinguished 2002 Jack Avrett Volunteer Spirit Award. This award is given to an inductee who demonstrates extraordinary volunteer efforts that extend beyond that of their accomplished peers.

The 2002 Advertising Hall of Achievement inductees will be honored at a luncheon at The Waldorf=Astoria in New York City on Tuesday, November 19.
