López named Video Journalist at telemundo 40 Rio Grande Valley

Telemundo 40 Río Grande Valley / KTLM announced that Martha Alicia López has been named Video Journalist for Noticias Telemundo 40, which airs weekdays at 4:30 PM, 5 PM and 10 PM. López, whose first day at Telemundo 40 is today, joins a dynamic and enterprising team of reporters to provide the latest local breaking news and up-to-the-minute information about the issues that affect the Hispanic community in the Río Grande Valley. She will make her on-air debut later this month.

López joins Telemundo 40 after working as a reporter at RCommunications Radio and Television in McAllen, Texas and at various radio stations, including La Pura Raza Radio in Columbus Ohio and Univision Radio in McAllen, Texas. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the Universidad de Matamoros in Mexico.
