Lopez Negrete ‘Best of Show’ @ Houston’s 45th Annual ADDY Awards.

Lopez Negrete Communications received Best of Show, Broadcast for its 2006 Visa USA campaign at this year’s Houston Advertising Federation (HAF) 45th Annual ADDY Awards. In addition, the agency won 15 Gold ADDYs, 12 Silver ADDYs and 25 Citations of Excellence. Overall, Lopez Negrete received 53 awards throughout the evening.

The Best of Show Broadcast Award is the fourth straight for Lopez Negrete. This year, Visa USA’s “Anthem TV” brought home the top television honor. In 2006, the agency developed a new Visa Brand campaign that captured the essence of Visa’s empowerment positioning while enhancing Hispanics’ perception of Visa’s security attributes. The outcome – while life may take patience, sacrifice and passion, the award winning TV spot and other campaign elements, show life also takes Visa.

The 53 awards were divided among many of the agency’s accounts, including: Wal-Mart (26), Visa (16), Reliant Energy (7), Azteca Milling (1), Lopez Negrete (1) and the Arkansas Department of Health (2).
