Lopez Negrete Get 2 Silver Tellys.

Lopez Negrete Communications received two Silver Telly 2003 awards for Tyson Foods’ “Monkey Bars” and Bank of America’s “Late Arrival” Spanish-language television ads. The Silver Telly is the highest honor given by the internationally renowned Telly Awards. In addition, Lopez Negrete received eight Finalist Bronze Telly’s for work on behalf of Wal-Mart, Tyson Foods, Bank of America, Goya Foods and Fiesta Mart.

The Telly Awards receive over 10,000 entries yearly from all 50 states and five continents. Entries are evaluated against a high standard of merit to recognize distinct creative work. Work that is showcased and recognized includes non-network and cable TV commercials, film and video productions and non-network TV programming.

“We are extremely proud of the work our creative team has produced. Their insights into our consumers’ lives create compelling, creative executions that are focused on producing results for our clients,” said Alex López Negrete, agency President and Chief Creative Officer.

Jack Richmond was the Creative Director for both of the Silver Telly ads, which portrayed two very different themes that convey a feeling of trust and nurturing. Bank of America’s “Late Arrival” touches on not only the financial security, but also the emotional security the bank provides to a family that has just purchased a new home. In Tyson Foods’ “Monkey Bars,” a mother assists her child on a playground. Just as the child trusts her mother to hold her up, so does the mother trust Tyson to help her provide the best nourishment for her family.
