Lopez-Negrete joins AAF’s Hall of Fame.

On Thursday, April 24, 2025, The American Advertising Federation inducted its yearly class and among them was a Hispanic Advertising leader, Alex Lopez Negrete, of Houston’s Lopez Negrete Communications. A company he co-founded with his wife and partner Cathy.
In its 74th anniversary, The American Advertising Federation has inducted around 300 advertising and marketing luminaries over the years, of these number, 30 women have been chosen and 7 of Hispanic or Latino origin. Lopez Negrete joins that short list formed by Eduardo Caballero, Teresa Zubizarreta, Hector Orci, Antonio Lucio, Raúl Alarcon, and Daisy Expósito-Ulla.
The other inductees this year are Linda Boff, John Hayes, David Lubars, Raja Rajamannar, Lisa Sherman, Rishad Tobaccowala, Susan Wojcicki. The company inducted this year was Mars Inc. The event took place at Cipriani, Wall Street, in New York City.
