López-Varela Launches Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos en Español.

Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos, Inc. announced the hiring of José López-Varela as VP, Managing Director to head up its new Hispanic market practice. The veteran of Hispanic advertising and public relations will oversee Hill, Holliday’s Hispanic marketing efforts from the agency’s Ft. Lauderdale office.

Alejandro Barreras, and Henry Gómez also joined Hill, Holliday to serve as Creative Director and Planning Director of the agency?s new Hispanic practice respectively. Until recently López-Varela, Barreras and Gómez comprised the senior management team at Miami-based CreatAbility. The three have worked together previously on such accounts as Royal Caribbean International, Dunkin-Donuts, MetLife, Sprint PCS and Iberostar Resorts.

“Hill, Holliday has recognized the importance of the Hispanic market for some time,” said Rita Harris, EVP of Professional Resources. “We’ve had the privilege of working with José and his team on various accounts over the years and couldn?t be more pleased to have them join us.”
