Lotus Entravision Reps adds Dallas’ ESPN Deportes/KZMP 1540AM.

Lotus Entravision Reps (LER) announced the addition of ESPN Radio’s Dallas “ESPN Deportes” affiliate – KZMP 1540 AM. LER takes on national sales duties for the station effective immediately.

KZMP 1540/”ESPN Deportes” is owned by ESPN Radio/Disney and is their first owned and operated “ESPN Deportes” radio station. ESPN Radio also owns the General Market ESPN Radio affiliate in Dallas – at 103.3FM. ESPN Radio is focused on delivering the passionate sports listener in Dallas – regardless of language.

ESPN Radio recently made two major investments in its Dallas “ESPN Deportes” property. On June 1, 2009 the format moved from 1480 AM (a Dallas only signal) to 1540 AM (a signal that covers the entire Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex). Additionally, both stations moved to state-of-the-art offices over the summer, with facilities that will allow the station to grow and realize the full potential that the market holds.

Currently, “ESPN Deportes” 1540 AM carries Mexican League Soccer and Chivas Soccer play-by-play. In addition, their local broadcast team is very focused on the local Dallas sports scene, with local programming in both morning drive and mid-day.
