LPN wins at Houston Addys.

Lopez Negrete Communications,swept the 46th Annual Federation of Houston ADDY Awards, taking home 69 honors in all. For an unprecedented fifth year in a row, Lopez Negrete was awarded the Best of Show Award. In addition to the Best of Show, Lopez Negrete won 22 Gold ADDYs, 20 Silver and 26 Citations of Excellence.

“This is one of the proudest moments in the history of our agency,” said Alex López Negrete, CEO and president. “To walk away five years in a row with the coveted Best of Show is extremely satisfying. I applaud the entire agency for the supreme work our employees perform, day in and day out.”

The 69 awards were divided among many of the agency’s accounts, including 22 Gold ADDYs awarded for work on behalf of: Blue Leaf (1); Wal-Mart (6); Wal-Mart Financial Services (4); Tyson Foods (3); Miller Lite (1); Azteca Milling (2); Fiesta (3); AAF Houston (1); and Lopez Negrete Communications (1).

“I am especially proud that practically all of our clients are represented in the winning categories,” added López Negrete. “Many times a repeat win for an agency is focused on one particular client. This recognition really represents the high quality of our work, since our entire client roster is being lauded by the judges.”

In addition, 20 Silver ADDYs were awarded for: Visa U.S.A. (1); Lopez Negrete Communications (1); Wal-Mart (5); Wal-Mart Financial Services (2); Safeco Insurance (1); Guerrero (1); Tyson Foods (2); Miller Lite (1); Azteca Milling (1); Fiesta (4); and AAF Houston (1).

Twenty-six certificates of excellence were given for the agency’s work on: Visa U.S.A. (5); Wal-Mart (7); Wal-Mart Financial Services (2); Guerrero (1); Safeco Insurance (1); Lopez Negrete Communications (1); Tyson Foods (1); Fiesta (6); and AAF Houston (2).

This year’s Best of Show, Broadcast Award went to Fiesta Mart. Javier Gonzalez-Herba served as the creative director and was accompanied by associate creative director Milton Lebron.
