Luis Miguel Messianu achieved the Ibero American Hall of Fame.

Luis Miguel Messianu, President & CCO of Alma DDB, was recently honored with one of the highest recognitions of the Latin American advertising industry, the FIAP Hall of Fame.

With this award, FIAP (The Ibero American Advertising Festival) acknowledges professionals that have become icons for the market through their creative potential in the industry.

With more than 25 years of experience, Luis Miguel Messianu founded Del Rivero Messianu in 1994, which was renamed Alma DDB in 2007.

“I feel very honored. I receive this recognition also on behalf of everyone who works and has worked in Alma DDB. From the beginning my personal agenda was to represent with dignity the Latinos in this country, and to help with the enhancement of their image. This is a confirmation that we are on the right path,” said Messianu when FIAP announced the award.

In January 2010 Alma DDB was the only Hispanic agency included in the Advertising Age Agency A-List. And more recently Messianu was appointed as chair of the Jury at the Art Directors Club Advertising Awards. It was the first time this organization selected a Latino for this position.

Messianu also said that he is a very fortunate man because he is surrounded by very talented and passionate people. “Without them I am no one.”

The award, presented by FIAP and Terra during the festival’s activities in Buenos Aires was announced to represent “an assured position in the Latin America advertising history”.
