Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc. announced the appointment of Olga M. Luis as Vice President/Director of Sales for its soon-to-be inaugurated TV venture in Miami, Florida. Last month the Company announced its acquisition of WDLP-TV serving South Florida.

Ms. Luis started her career in 1982 as a network Sales Representative for Univision with territorial responsibility for the Northeast United Sates. Over the last 20 years she has held several positions in Hispanic television, both at Telemundo and Univision. In 1998 she was promoted to Vice President/Station Manager of Univision’s television station in Miami, playing an integral role in achieving and maintaining that station’s dynamic revenue growth. Most recently, Ms. Luis served as the South Florida sales representative for Liberman Communications.
