Major League Baseball All-Star Game on Fox Sports en Español.

For the fourth year in a row, Fox Sports en Español will bring the excitement of the Major League Baseball All-Star Game to Spanish-speaking audiences throughout the United States. This year’s 78th Annual Midsummer Classic between the stars of the American and National Leagues will air exclusively live in Spanish on Tuesday, July 10, from AT&T Park in San Francisco, starting with a half-hour pre-game show at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT.

The network’s exclusive telecast is supported by more than 14 advertisers, led by General Motors’ Chevrolet Division as the telecast’s title sponsor. Fox Sports en Español extended its rights for the Major League Baseball All-Star Game earlier this year through the 2013 season via a sublicense agreement with Fox Broadcasting Company, similar to the arrangement under which the all-sports Spanish-language cable network has televised the MLB postseason since 2001.

“We are proud to be the only U.S. TV network to once again offer Latino sports fans live Spanish-language coverage of the Major League Baseball All-Star Game,” said David Sternberg, executive vice president and general manager of Fox Sports en Español. “Over the past three years, our telecasts of the Midsummer Classic have attracted large numbers of loyal viewers and secured advertising revenue growth thanks to the popularity of baseball among Latinos. With dozens of players of Hispanic origin nominated to participate this year, we will not only bring our viewers closer to their favorite players and teams, but will also offer the perfect complement to our exclusive Spanish-language coverage of the MLB weekly Saturday game, playoffs and World Series in October.”

The half-hour pre-game show will be hosted by Adrian Fernandez. Pepe Mantilla will handle play-by-play while Carlos Hernandez will provide color commentary during the game.
