d expósito & partners announced that Louis Maldonado has joined the agency as Client Director. In this capacity, Maldonado will collaborate on existing clients, as well as lead new business development for the Agency. “Louis brings to d expósito & partners a solid foundation in strategy, branding and consumer insights. Couple this with his promotions and brand activation experience and it is a powerful combination to further strengthen the d’ team,” says Daisy Expósito-Ulla, Chairman & CEO.
Maldonado comes to d expósito & partners from The Marketing Store in Oakbrook, IL, where as Account Director he led the McDonald’s national Hispanic promotions and brand activation programs for LoMcXimo, the 2006 FIFA World Cup and the McDonald’s Monopoly promotions.
Prior to his work at The Marketing Store, Louis spearheaded the Hispanic healthcare unit at The Bravo Group which included pharma category leaders like GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis, Astra-Zeneca and Wyeth Consumer Healthcare. Under Louis’ direction, Wyeth saw notable growth with multiple brands entering the Hispanic marketplace. Maldonado also led the Philip-Morris USA business, handling the Youth Smoking Prevention and QuitAssist brands.
Before working at The Bravo Group, Louis worked at general market ad shop, Warwick-Baker-O’Neil, working on Reckitt-Benckiser’s French’s Mustard and Frank’s RedHot Sauce.
