Marinela USA inspires Self-Expression through Creative Arts.

Marinela USA is encouraging youth to participate in creative arts programs as a healthy form of self-expression and building self-esteem. On July 18 Marinela began giving away free Marinela Talent School (MTS) DVDs that introduce youth to different dance forms such as Hip-Hop, Electro Dance and Street Moves. One of three DVDs and an instructional dance step mat can be found in specially marked boxes of Gansito, Gansito Chocolate, Napolitano, Submarinos and Pinguinos. Marinela will also give away five golden DVDs that consumers can redeem for a $5,000 scholarship to participate in an art program of their choice.

“We are very excited to be launching the Marinela Talent School scholarship promotion,” said Marinela USA Brand Manager Melisenda Barajas. “Our consumers and retailers love programs that get youth involved, and have an educational and health element included. Based on our prior health and fitness promotions, we know demand will be high, and this year we will be giving away 1.5 million DVDs.”

“More schools are tightening their budgets and eliminating arts programs because of funding,” said Barajas. “We hope through the Marinela Talent School scholarship promotion we will provide another avenue for youth to get involved in the arts.”
