Maximo Furniture opens first U.S. Store.

Maximo Furniture opened its doors on San Antonio’s southside, locating itself at Southpark Mall next to Ana’s Linens. The store marks the first U.S. location for furniture retailer Maximo and a success story in San Antonio’s international business acquisition efforts. The furniture chain was introduced to the region through the city’s CASA Mexico City office.

“We are excited to launch our brand in San Antonio,” states Maximo Furniture President, Jorge Reyes, “our team visited other communities and felt this city had many great opportunities for our company to grow.” The San Antonio store will be number ten in North America for the quickly expanding furniture chain.

“Since we are part of a manufacturer with over twenty-five years experience,” continued Mr. Jorge Reyes, “we have the ability to offer quality products from internationally experienced designers. Our rich history with contemporary styles can give consumers confidence in our furniture.” Maximo Furniture plans on opening more stores in the near future and hopes to launch its luxury brand Dettaglio within the year.  “We are here to stay and proud to be part of San Antonio.” concluded Mr. Reyes.
