Maximum TV announced that it is adding a host of popular television shows from Azteca America to its already impressive library of Hispanic focused content.
“We’re thrilled about the partnership with Azteca,” says Maximum TV’s VP of Business Development and Content Acquisition, JR deSouza. “As the fastest growing, and one of the largest content providers from Mexico, Azteca is a great addition to our growing portfolio, which now encompasses content that is relevant to almost 20 countries. It’s a win for viewers who now have more access than ever to Hispanic relevant Tier-1 entertainment online. And our advertising partners are able to customize their reach with specific audience in a large and growing market that over-indexes in Internet video consumption and is grossly under served.”
The partnership will bring Maximum TV viewers shows such as Ventaneando America, Laura de Todos, El Que No CaeResbala, La Liga Azteca, AntesalaDeportiva, and others. Maximum TV programming is available on its portal at www.Maximum.TV, but also thru online syndication in the United States. That means Maximum TV content will be available on computers, mobile phones, and other devices that access the Internet. The Maximum TV service launched earlier this year. Its advertiser-supported business model means it is currently free to viewers.
“Maximum TV’s platforms provide a brilliant end-user experience. Their business model is smart with a special focus on US Hispanics,” said Rawdon Messenger, Director of Digital and Product Integration. “In other words, they are a great distribution partner for our digital content.”
“Leading Hispanic content from their country of origin or ancestry is at the heart of what Maximum TV does” says Erik Vanderlaan, Maximum TV’s Chief Technology Officer. “It compliments their distribution by giving them instant national reach and incremental revenue opportunities. Besides the convenience of watching whenever desired, we offer content that’s not readily available, if at all. We give viewers access to programming they won’t find anywhere else – quickly, easily, and for free. That’s why it’s being so well received.”
