Mike McCarthy has been named Vice President of Sales for Telemundo’s KVEA-52 in Los Angeles, announced Manuel Abud, Vice President and General Manager for the station. In his new position McCarthy will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of KVEA sales, reporting directly to Abud.
McCarthy comes to Telemundo from NBC 7/39 San Diego (KNSD) where he started out as an Account Executive in 1981 and had been Vice President of Sales since 1997.
