Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation announced the promotion of Tim McCoy to Vice President and General Manager of HBC’s newly acquired radio station KINV(FM) 107.7 in Austin, Texas. McCoy was most recently Market Station Manager for HBC Houston. The appointment is effective immediately.
McCoy, a 27-year radio veteran, has managed the sales department and several areas of the day-to-day operations of the seven-station cluster of HBC Houston. McCoy began his career in 1975 as an on-air personality and later moved into sales and station management at radio stations in the Midwest and Phoenix. In 1995, McCoy joined KRBE Houston as Sales Manager and in 2000 he joined HBC as Director of Sales of the Houston stations. He was promoted to Market Manager in 2001.
