Arbitron Inc. (ARB) announced its implementation strategy to increase sample sizes in its Portable People Meter (PPM) markets. The Company now plans to increase sample targets by ten percent in the important advertising demographic of Persons aged 18-54 by mid-year 2011.

Online’s Slice of Ad Spending grows Worldwide.
The “Interaction 2009” report predicts 4% growth in US online ad spending in 2009, to $22.77 billion. Growth will ramp up to 7% next year. Worldwide, online spending is expected to climb 9% in 2009, returning to double-digit growth in 2010.
Telemundo & RTI to export TV productions from Colombia.
Telemundo Communications Group (Telemundo) and Colombian television production pioneers, Radio Television Interamericana S.A. (RTI), reached an agreement to create a new entity called Producciones RTI S.A.S. that will produce television content in Colombia for export to the US and the rest of the world.
