Telemundo launches ¡Hazte Contar! 2010 Census campaign.
Telemundo announced the launch of ”Hazte Contar!” (Be Counted!), a national initiative designed to increase awareness of the 2010 Census among U.S. Hispanics and increase their participation in this significant national process. The company-wide, year-long campaign will kick off on-air on April 1, 2009, and encompass all of Telemundo’s properties across its broadcast (network and stations), cable and digital platforms.

Previous notions of Hispanics not having access to the internet, or being unaware of its possibilities, have been smashed. Mega TV signs with Spanish Television Sales.
Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc. (SBS)announced that it has entered into a sales representation agreement with Spanish Television Sales (STS) to have the Company represent SBS’ leading Mega TV properties. STS will be responsible for advertising sales in all Mega TV markets across the country, including Puerto Rico, West Palm Beach and their newest affiliate in Las Vegas.
