Latino Móvil to provide news from countries of origin.

Latino Móvil, a provider of news information, sports, and entertainment directly from Latin American countries to U.S. cell phone users via short message service (SMS) technology, launched its services nationwide January 23, 2008 under the slogan “Your country, your news. Directly to your cell phone.”

The film, which premiered against all odds on November 2007 in many important theaters across Venezuela, is directed by Rómulo Guardia and co- produced with Jorge Granier and Caupolican Ovalles for RCTV and its partner The Angostura Film Company.

LATV Networks, LLC (LATV) announced that it has acquired American Latino TV (ALTV), the syndication and production company for English-language television shows created for bicultural/bilingual U.S. Latinos.

Telecinco to purchase 28% of CaribeVisión.

Telecinco from Spain, announced that they have purchased 28.3% of CaribeVisión for $32M, which has television stations in New York, Miami and Puerto Rico.

Keoseyan re-joins ImpreMedia as Publisher of La Raza Newspaper in Chicago.

ImpreMedia announced the appointment of Ruben Keoseyan as Publisher of La Raza newspaper, Chicago’s premier Spanish-language weekly.

Not entirely new to the ImpreMedia team, in 2000, Keoseyan began a five-year term at ImpreMedia’s Los Angeles daily, La Opinión, where he was Managing Editor and in 2004, he was promoted to Executive Editor of largest Spanish-language daily in the country.
