According to Radio & Records magazine, the FCC on Friday granted permission to GLR Networks to deliver Spanish-language programming to XTRA-AM/Tijuana-San Diego — a step in the expected transfer of control of the 690 kHz powerhouse’s programming and sales agreements from Clear Channel to Madrid-based Grupo Prisa S.A., which will later acquire the station outright through a Mexican subsidiary.

Youth Produced TV Series ‘Tu Voz’ Airing.
The Media Arts Center San Diego’s Teen Producers Project is now airing its 12 part 1/ 2 hour youth produced documentary series Tu Voz TV Fridays at 8:00 pm Pacific (11:00 pm Eastern) on Free Speech TV DISH Network Channel 9415. The series is featured in Free Speech TV’s Community Works Program: an on-going series from community media and arts centers across the US.
