Estrella TV announced its Upfront plans for 2012. Estrella TV will reveal its Fall TV line-up at Gotham Hall in New York City on May 17 at 12PM EST.

Vme will host its 2012 upfront on May 16th from 3:00pm – 5:30pm in New York.

Having just watched the pilot for Rob Schneider’s new show, Rob, I am totally disgusted by the way CBS has portrayed a Mexican-American family in an attempt to lure Latinos to general market television. Telemundo Media announced that it will hold its annual Upfront presentation on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 6pm EST in New York at the American Museum of Natural History, in the museum’s Cullman Hall of the Universe.

Entravision Communications Corporation announced that Mario M. Carrera has been promoted to the newly-created position of Senior Vice President of Spanish-Language Television, overseeing and managing all of Entravision’s Spanish-language television properties. Carrera previously led Entravision’s radio, television and interactive assets in Colorado as the Vice President and General Manager for 8 years.

The E.W. Scripps Company completed its acquisition of nine television stations from McGraw-Hill Broadcasting. The company announced its intention to acquire the stations on October 3, 2011.
