The biggest stars in Mexican regional music are coming out this Saturday, November 20 as Azteca America broadcasts in exclusive the fourth annual Premios PREMMUSA awards ceremony at 8 pm / 7 C. Performing at the festive gala will be: Alacranes Musical, Conjunto Primavera, La Número 1 Banda Jerez, Priscila y sus Balas de Plata and El Chapo de Sinaloa, among other Mexican regional music greats.

Univision successfully negotiated over 150 carriage agreements, resulting in partnerships with our distributors that have enabled us to invest in expanded news coverage, community service programs and other initiatives that benefit our viewers in the U.S. Hispanic community. As Congress considers this issue, it is critical that the market incentives that made these deals possible are preserved.”

Discovery Networks International (DNI) announced the creation of a new production and development unit across the division that will focus on developing global content for Discovery’s portfolio of networks in more than 180 countries worldwide. The newly formed creative unit will be led by Luis Silberwasser, newly appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Content Officer.

Telemundo announced its NTI results for the premiere of Aurora, the network’s newest original primetime novela. According to Nielsen Media Research, Aurora delivered an average of 1,360,000 total viewers (Persons 2+) and 851,000 Adults 18-49 viewers on Monday, November 1, making it the network’s strongest premiere in the 8pm time period in 4 years for Adults 18-49.
