Univision announces promotion of Cesar Conde to Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer.

Univision Communications Inc. announced that Cesar Conde has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer, effective immediately. Conde will report to Joe Uva, Chief Executive Officer of Univision.

In this position, Conde will work closely with the CEO and the management team to identify new strategic growth opportunities for the Company while continuing to implement Univision’s corporate priorities. He will work to identify new business initiatives and alternative revenue streams across the Company’s television, radio and internet platforms and coordinate with all units in support of these new efforts.

Telemundo novela launches in LatAM, Europe, Asia, Africa, Indonesia and in Ghana.

Telemundo continues to extend its reach to emerging markets. Telemundo generated a 30% increase over 2005, with 26,000 hours of programming aired around the world in 2006. July 2007, marked the premieres of 15 Telemundo Internacional original novelas throughout Latin America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Indonesia.

Pappas Telecasting Companies announced that its new Spanish-language television network, dubbed “TuVisión,” has debuted on five of the company’s television stations.

MTV TR3´S celebrates 1s anniversary with distribution milestone.

Just shy of its first year anniversary, MTV Tr3´s has more than doubled its reach among Hispanic TV Households. According to Nielsen, effective September 1, 2007, MTV Tr3´s is now in 6.2 million Hispanic TV households and 31.9 million total TV households overall. By securing widespread distribution that includes broadcast, cable, satellite and telcos since launching in September 2006.
