Rudy Pérez, one of the outstanding creators of international pop music, has written and produced “Que Viva la Unión,” the official song for Telemundo’s broadcast of the Olympic Games Athens 2004.

Versaly Entertainment, a wireless new media company, announced it has signed an agreement with NBC Universal Television Distribution and the Telemundo Network Group to create, produce, sell and wirelessly distribute music, images and sounds from various television programs aired on the Telemundo Network.

Nielsen Hires Multicultural Shop To Counter Local People Meter Opposition Ads.

In an effort to offset the impact of a well-financed anti-people meter campaign aimed at minorities, civic leaders and politicians, Nielsen has hired a multicultural marketing agency to conduct an aggressive advertising and PR campaign of its own. The effort, which will include print and radio advertising, as well as a “grassroots advertising” and PR campaign, will be handled by Burrell, a multicultural shop that is regarded as one of the top agencies specializing in African American consumers.
