NUVOtv enters into partnership with Vevo to produce The Collective

Part of NUVOtv’s spring programming slate, The Collective, Powered by Vevo is co-executive produced by NUVOtv’s Chief Creative Officer Jennifer Lopez under her Nuyorican Productions banner.  Premiering March 6 at 8pm ET/5pm PT, the weekly, two-hour series will feature select DJs and celebrity tastemakers who will offer their unique perspective on what’s new and what’s hot across music and pop culture.  The series will highlight the tastemakers’ personal music picks of the week, intimate celebrity interviews, and hot trends in music, fashion, live events, viral videos and more.

Schwarz named President & GM of Telemundo 47 / WNJU in NY

The Telemundo Station Group named Cristina Schwarz as President and General Manager of Telemundo 47 / WNJU, the NBCUniversal-owned television station serving the Hispanic community in the New York Tri-State area. Additionally, Liliana Aristizabal was promoted to Vice President of Sales for the station.

Collins named VP of News, Social Affairs and Wellness at Entravision

Entravision Communications Corporation announced that the company has appointed Luisa Collins to Vice President of News, Social Affairs and Wellness, effective February 10th.  She will be based in Los Angeles, California.    In her new position, Collins will oversee news content and be responsible for quality control across Entravision’s 25 television stations that currently air local news coverage.  She will also be responsible for expanding the Entravision brand by developing increased content for the news websites.
