Medina – Sr VP & Ops Manager @ Telefutura Network.

Univision Communications Inc. announced that Bert Medina has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Operating Manager of the TeleFutura Network, effective immediately. Mr. Medina will be responsible for overseeing all operations, including programming, promotions, talent relations, technical operations and news for the TeleFutura Network. He will be based in Miami and will report to Ray Rodriguez, President and Chief Operating Officer, Univision Communications Inc. Mr. Medina is replacing Alina Falcón, who has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Operating Manager of the Univision Network. Mr. Medina was formerly the Vice President and General Manager of Univision WGBO-TV and TeleFutura WXFT-TV in Chicago.

Univision also announced that Vincent Cordero has been promoted to Vice President and General Manager, Univision WGBO-TV and TeleFutura WXFT-TV in Chicago. His responsibilities will include overseeing all operations of WGBO and WXFT, including local programming, advertising, promotions, technical operations, sales, and news. Mr. Cordero will report to Mike Wortsman and Tom Arnost, Co-Presidents, Univision Television Group.
