Mega TV adds affiliate in Las Vegas.

Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS) announced that Mega TV has signed an affiliation agreement with Cranston Acquisition, LLC., in Las Vegas/Laughlin, Nevada for carriage on KMCC-DT Channel 32 (The programming can also be seen on analog TV KBNX Channel 31). The station will transmit Mega TV’s critically acclaimed programming including, “Paparazzi TV,” “Maria Elvira Live,” “Esta Noche Tu Night” with Alexis Valdés” and “Bayly,” among others. MEGA TV is scheduled to launch on January 26, 2009.

“The Las Vegas DMA is our gateway to the launch of our brand on the West Coast, where Mega TV will showcase that it has relevant original programming for US Latinos. We have an innovative style and a unique approach to Spanish-language content with renowned talent and fresh formats. We expect the network to continue its successful track record of ratings on a national level”, stated Cynthia Hudson, EVP/ CCO of SBS and the Managing Director of Mega TV.
