Mega TV available island wide in Puerto Rico.

Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc. (SBS) announced that starting Monday, November 23, 2009 its television programming will be seen on the entire island of Puerto Rico. Due to an acquisition of new technology, audiences will be able to tune in to the channel over the air through a converter box, as well as on cable and satellite.

The broadcast frequency for the over the air signal via a converter box will be Channel 60. Cable and satellite users can watch Mega TV® on Choice Channel 16, Liberty Channel 45, OneLink Channel 60, DIRECTV Channel 169 and Dish Network Channel 60.

“With these new signals, not only will everyone on the Island be able to watch our programming, we will also have a clearer image. For geographical reasons, most of our households without cable or satellite couldn’t receive our signal in the past.
