Mega TV celebrates Willy Chirino 35th anniversary in the music industry.

This Thursday May 11th, at 9 p.m. put on your dancing shoes, get in front of your television set and get ready to enjoy the sensual Latin beat of Grammy winner Willy Chirino as he celebrates his 35 year musical career as part of the Mega Especiales airing exclusively on Mega TV.
Filmed “live” at the James L. Knight Center, Chirino electrifies his fans by performing all of his classic hits during the one-hour songfest celebrating the famed Cuban singer/songwriter’s many musical accomplishments.
Tune in Mega TV and be on hand to witness the King of Salsa set the stage on fire along with other Latino music icons such as Oscar D’Leon, Arturo Sandoval, Israel Lopez-Cachao, Generoso Jimenez, Paquito Echevarria and Nestor Torres.
Aside from his marvelous talent and showmanship, Chirino reveals himself as a true humanitarian through the many donations of his talent, time and energy for a multitude of charitable causes. Recently hailed as a hero for saving two people from drowning, he is now known as “Super Chiro” to his fans and friends.
In addition, throughout the special Willy shares many personal anecdotes, giving Mega TV viewers an intimate perspective on the man who inspires pride for being one of the creators of the “Miami Sound”.
