Mega TV expands programming block.

Spanish Broadcasting System announced that its television network Mega TV will be offering new and more of its popular programming starting February 1st, with a television line-up that begins at 4 p.m. (ET), 3 p.m. (CT), 1 p.m. (PT) weekdays and new family programs on weekends.
From Monday through Friday, Mega TV will begin with the soap opera “Dueña y Señora” from 4-5 p.m. (ET), 3-4 p.m. (CT), 1-2 p.m. (PT), a touching story based on the uncontrollable love between Adriana and Diego, which is hampered by the ambition of others. Diego is obligated to marry Mariela, a wealthy woman, while Adriana becomes the victim of a terrible heart break, but the fight between good and evil will take a fascinating course, and no one will be able to come between the fate of the passionate duo.
“Mega News” will expand to an hour from 5 p.m. (ET), 4p.m (CT), 2 p.m. (PT) and incorporate entertainment news from Rene Solorio and Alan Jacott, hosts of SBS’ www.lamusica.com . “Mega News” will also expand into other topics like: technology, health, lifestyle, interior design, home remodeling, cuisine, fashion, money management, movies, music, art and many other areas of interest to its viewers.
Weekends on Mega TV will offer “Mega Cine” with three blocks of entertaining movies for the entire family. The first two blocks will air every Saturday from (5-7 p.m. ET), (4-6 p.m. CT) (2-4 p.m. PT) and from (7-9 p.m. ET), (6-8 p.m. CT), (4-6 p.m. PT). On Sundays, “Mega Cine” will air its third block from (5-7 p.m. ET), (4-6 p.m. CT), (2-4 p.m. PT) with some of the best classic movies.
Continuing with Saturday’s programming, Mega TV present its new show “Mega Inside” (9-9:30 p.m. ET), (8-8:30 p.m. CT), (6-6:30 p.m. PT), a new innovative show that will give the audience an inside look at what really happens behind the scenes on some of their favorite shows. “Mega Inside” will explore: What happens when a talent commits an error on air? Where do producers get their stories from? How do actors and actresses relate to one another on and off the set? As a special feature, “Mega Inside” will also include a fan club.
Additionally, Saturdays will continue with “Agenda del Inmigrante” from (9:30-10 p.m. ET), (8:30-9 p.m. CT), (6:30-7 p.m. PT) where reporter Sal Morales and lawyer Michelle Sanchez will keep audiences informed on the latest legal information on immigration by citing recent real life cases that will give people hope to continue with their journey.
On Sundays, Mega TV will bring new productions of “Puerta Astral” from (7-8 p.m. ET), (6-7 p.m. CT), (4-5 p.m. PT), “La Descarga con Albita” from (8-9 p.m. ET), (7-8 p.m. CT), (5-6 p.m. PT), and “Raices y Recuerdos” from (9-10 p.m. ET), (8-9 p.m. CT), (6-7 p.m. PT), finishing with the new weekly show “Conversemos”, premiering on Sunday, February 7th from (10-10:30 p.m. ET), (9-9:30 p.m. CT), (7-7:30 p.m. PT). “Conversemos” will be hosted by renowned journalist José Manuel Rodriguez, who will interview the most influential opinion leaders in today’s Hispanic community, as well as artists, journalists, and global entertainment people, with an open, intimate, and informal style of dialogue.
To conclude the new programming schedule, Mega TV will finish Sundays with “Lamusica.com,” in which Rene Solorio and Alan Jacott will discuss in detail the most relevant music and hottest celebrity news of the week.
