Mega TV Rewards Its Audience

During the month of May, Mega TV gave away $2,200 every day in a unique contest promotion called “Mega Mile$” (Mega Thousands). The contest was a great success, awarding 23 winners with the generous cash prize that resulted in heart-warming expressions of joy and thanks from the lucky winners.

To participate in “Mega Mile$”, all viewers had to do was watch Mega TV and write down the “Mega Clues,” which appeared twice a day throughout our programming from 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. The “Mega Clues” were displayed through a Logo Animation System and alerted the audience to start taking their notes. That same day those viewers who thought they had the right answers immediately called the channel at 1-888-MegaTV1 (1-888-634-2881), and the first viewer to correctly identify both clues won the cash prize.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better group of winners!”, commented Euridice Ventura, Vice President of Content Integration for Spanish Broadcasting System. “They represented the diverse Hispanic culture in Miami and the different aspects of our viewing demographic: men and women, grandmothers, young mothers, etc., all representing different countries from Latin America, including Cuba, Brazil and the Dominican Republic.”

Indeed, 17 of the winners were originally from Cuba, two from the Dominican Republic, one from Bolivia and one winner hailed from Brazil, each winning $2,200. These were featured in fun vignettes produced and aired daily.
