Mendoza joins KDTV UNIVISION 14 News.

Alejandro Mendoza has joined KDTV Univision 14 as a news anchor and reporter for the station‚s award-winning newscast “Noticias Univision 14.”
“Alejandro brings fantastic journalistic experience to our team of news professionals at Univision 14,” said Sandra Thomas, News Director, KDTV Univision 14. “For the past decade, he has covered political affairs, natural disasters and other major news events in Mexico and throughout Latin America. We look forward to sharing his fresh and insightful reporting style with our dedicated viewers.”
For the past six years, Mendoza has been a contributing reporter, based in Mexico City, for the Univision Network, where he regularly appeared on the news magazine program “Primer Impacto” and national evening news, “Noticiero Univision.” Prior to Univision, Mendoza served as a reporter/anchor for several popular news programs. In 2004, he was honored with the prestigious National Radio Television News Directors Association (RTNDA) Edward R. Murrow Award for his news series on sexual abuse titled, “Mis Padres, Mis Verdugos.”
