Merrill Lynch presents 5th annual arteaméricas.

For the fifth consecutive year, Merrill Lynch will present arteaméricas, the premier exhibition of Latin American artists, showcasing more than 300 renowned and emerging talents from 70 of the most prestigious art galleries of Latin America, the United States and Europe.

The event, which will be held March 16 to 18, 2007 at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami Beach, Florida, will feature artists from 20 countries, as well as some of the Americas’ leading art museums and foundations. The exhibition will include paintings, sculptures, photographs, installations and videos ranging in price from $2,000 to more than a half-million dollars.

“Miami is a city that brings together the best in Latin American culture, entertainment and tradition,” said Kimberly Palmer, Regional Managing Director for Merrill Lynch South Florida. “Merrill Lynch’s commissioning of arteaméricas reflects our firm’s strong commitment to this wonderful city, to Latin America and to the art that is a passion we share with so many of our clients.”

Art collectors and experts will be guest speakers at a series of Latin American art conferences at the Miami Beach Convention Center during the exhibit. As lead sponsor of the show, Merrill Lynch will host VIP clients and guests at a number of events surrounding the promotion of the exhibit, including a series of gallery dinners March 6 to 8 and a VIP reception the night before the show’s opening.
