Mesimex Productions commercial will air in the ‘Super Bowl’ of Horse Races.

Alex Isidoro, the Mexican-American up and coming director, recently finished filming his first TV commercial for the general market of the US, which is scheduled to launch nationally on ABC.

It will be a very prestigious debut since “Watch them Fly”, the name of the spot, was made to promote the Belmont Stakes, the final leg of the Triple Crown, the most important horse race in the world, which will take place this Saturday June 6 in New York.

The 2005 University of Texas (at Austin) graduate, Alex Isidoro, has had a very rewarding career, which includes having worked as an Assistant Director for many well known advertising directors such as Simón Bross, Jorge Colón, Magaby García, Raúl Martínez, and Joe Solís.

He started directing just over a year ago, and now at 25 years old he has completed 7 commercials, and a short film, which was also authored by him, titled “I Have No Idea”. For the future, he plans to continue directing commercials as well as branch out to direct music videos and viral content.

“Watch them Fly” is a production of Mesimex Productions with the participation of Letca Films. The spot was filmed in Miami and New York, and it was edited under the eye of Jeff Sternberger from 2150 Editorial, while the audio was worked on by Steve Johnston from Outpost Audio.
