Mexican Presidential debates live in the USA.

Alterna’TV and Channel México 22 will transmit the Mexican presidential candidate debates live the first of which will be held this coming Tuesday, April 25th, at 6:30 PM Pacific time, 8:30 PM Central time and 9:30 PM Eastern time.

Participating candidates in this first debate include: Felipe Calderón, candidate for the National Action Party (PAN), Roberto Madrazo, candidate for the Alliance for Mexico (PRI and the Green Ecological Party), Patricia Mercado, candidate for the Social Democrat and Farmers’ Alternate Party, and Roberto Campa, candidate for the New Alliance Party.

Set-up on stage for the presidential candidates’ debate will include five chairs or podiums despite the fact that the candidate for the Coalition for Everyone’s’ Welfare (PRD, PT and Convergence), Andrés Manuel López Obrador, will not participate in the debate.

The second debate, which Channel México 22 will also broadcast live in the United States, is scheduled for Tuesday, June 6th. All five candidates have confirmed their participation in this debate, at this date.
